Heating and Air Conditioning New
Installation:
Although Park Mechanical installers are certified to install HVAC
systems from any manufacturer, we are a
Lennox Premier dealer
and an
American Standard Customer Care dealer.
In addition to traditional central heating and air conditioning
systems, Park also installs split-ductless systems manufactured
by Mitsubishi and high velocity Unico systems manufactured by Unico.
What is a split-ductless system?

The
difference between a central system and a split-ductless system
is that with the central system the evaporator unit is typically
found in the attic and has ductwork branched off to the different
rooms in your house. With Mitsubishi's Mr. Slim systems the evaporator
is actually in the room being air-conditioned. The indoor unit has
a quiet fan that blows across a cold aluminum coil while in the
air-conditioning mode. The indoor unit is usually a wall-mounted
type, and this unit is connected directly to the outdoor unit by
copper tubing and control and power wiring. Because there is no
ductwork for conditioned air to leak out of, there is no opportunity
for wasted energy. 100% of the air your system conditions is distributed
in your building.
What is a Unico system and how does it work?

The unique feature of a Unico system is the patented supply tubes
which route conditioned air through out your building. These flexible
mini-ducts can be routed through existing ceiling, floor and wall
cavities, eliminating the need for inefficient large metal ductwork.
Also, because the supply tubes are flexible and much smaller than
traditional ductwork, Unico systems can be installed in any building
with little to no remodling. In contrast to traditional units which
operate at 500-600 feet per minute at the outlet, the Unico System
operates at 2,000 feet per minute which results in draft-free, even
temperature rooms. Read more about Unico systems
